Unripe soursops are hard, with thick flesh that isn't soft, lacking sweetness, and when eaten, they have a starchy texture similar to raw potatoes. If you blend unripe soursop, the smoothie will have a slightly bitter and harsh taste.

The current market price for soursop ranges from 35,000-40,000 VND/kg for regular soursop, while Thai soursop is more expensive, priced at 50,000-60,000 VND/kg, and sometimes up to 80,000 VND/kg.

Prepare the Soursop

Before preparing, rinse the soursop thoroughly. Peel off the outer skin and remove any bruised sections. Cut the soursop in half, then place one half upright and use a knife to slice off the outer flesh in layers. When you encounter seeds, use the tip of the knife to remove them, and continue slicing until you reach the innermost core. The core is sour, so you may want to discard it.

Make the Soursop Smoothie

Place the prepared soursop flesh into a blender, add about 150ml of fresh milk, 50ml of condensed milk, 30g of white sugar, and crushed ice or 5-6 ice cubes. Adjust the amount of sugar and milk to suit your taste preferences. Keep in mind that soursop has a tangy flavor, so you may need to balance the sweetness accordingly.
